Mark Smith's photographic body of work is widely varied, but with emphasis on urban landscapes, street photography and portraits.  Commercial photography includes work related to Internet and Website development by Creationsite.  He founded the creative collaborative of artists at SpectrumSpace Studios in Cleveland.

 

Mark is a Principal at Cobalt Group, a private consultancy that helps leaders of all types identify opportunities, build capacity, achieve outcomes and measure results.


He also serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for JumpStart, a venture development organization which promotes economic development by investing in and assisting promising early stage companies in Northeast Ohio... a great place to live, work, play and create.

 

Mark serves as a board member and vice president of marketing for the Cleveland International Film Festival.

 

During the 1980s and 1990s, Mark held in executive management roles for prominent Cleveland companies Progressive Insurance and medical products leader Invacare Corporation.  He has since served on the senior management teams of start-up endeavors DriveLogic in Chicago, which provided internet based supply chain management tools, and insurance software provider ClaimIQ in San Francisco.

 

Mark holds a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Michigan State University.














SpectrumSpace studio is a Cleveland based creative collaboration of visual artists who are dedicated to creation, promotion, exhibition and event production.  SpectrumSpace is the creative home of Mark Smith Photography, Element Photo and David Schwartz Photography.
